WIG Future Leaders Programme (FLP) - Ignite your career

Action Learning Group

Be part of a fresh approach to future leadership development. Take responsibility for your own learning. Deliver a project of real value.

Who is this programme for?

  • Recent graduates (or equivalent) in the public, private or voluntary sectors, with at least two years’ work experience
  • Those who have been identified as having a 'high potential' for leadership
  • Those who would benefit from bringing cross-sector learning back to the workplace.
  • Those who may be part of, or have completed, an employer-run graduate development programme
  • Those who are already in their first leadership role.

What will you experience?

Please see detail in the programme brochure.

Why should you take part?

This programme will give you a better understanding of yourself, your readiness for leadership, and of the dramatically changing context in which leaders and their organisations now operate. You will be better equipped to deliver results; gain a wider understanding of leadership across the sectors now and for the future; and be able to create sustainable, diverse networks and strong relationships across the sectors.

How will your organisation benefit?

They will gain more resourceful, reflective and effective emerging leaders; who are more attuned to changes in the environment in which they operate; and who will have had experience of working with other professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds and sectors.
