WIG is an independent not-for-profit, non-lobbying organisation with a charitable purpose – to build understanding and co-operation between government and business to achieve:
- Better informed policy and regulation
- More effective cross-sector partnerships
- Better leadership
With increasing interdependence and partnership working between government and business – to face major challenges such as climate change or to achieve the government’s delivery agenda – WIG helps to build the knowledge, understanding, respect and trust that are the essential underpinning to successful partnerships.
