This popular seminar provides an opportunity for delegates to experience a problem-solving technique ideally suited to handling the complex challenges facing today's senior managers.The cross-sector environment offered by WIG adds an extra dimension to the day, enriching the learning and offering the opportunity for delegates to work alongside, and forge links with, those from other organisations and sectors.
The day focuses on a technique called Action Learning. Many organisations use one form or another of action learning.Participants in this seminar will be taught a highly effective, structured model of action learning - appropriate to this type of event where time is limited.Working with skilled and experienced facilitators, managers from diverse backgrounds will: check out their thinking with others; share experiences; practise listening and questioning skills; and gain new perspectives on seemingly intractable workplace challenges.Delegates attending these seminars are often inspired to take the technique back into their organisations to use with their own teams.
The seminar also incorporates other user-friendly practical tools including a simple yet sophisticated change diagnostic that helps determine the appropriate way to remedy a failing change initiative.
