Political Briefing with Peter Riddell
On 27 June 2008 - exactly one year after Gordon Brown became Prime Minister - Peter Riddell, Chief Political Commentator of the Times, gave a Political Briefing for around 70 senior level delegates from WIG's cross-sector membership.
Once again, the event was hosted by Freshfields. Peter reviewed the challenges and issues faced by Gordon Brown and the Labour Government over the past year and gave delegates an insight into the interesting political landscape in the run-up to the next General Election.
