Development Seminar: Decisions That Stick

Many decisions made within organisations fail or never get implemented, either because the plans were not clear or because some of those involved in making the decisions didn’t really believe in them. This seminar addresses these problems. It will enable delegates:

To develop plans that are clear to everyone involved about WHAT they will achieve together and HOW

To ensure those plans are robust, fully supported and are implemented

Participants will have the opportunity to use the tools and techniques learned during the seminar and to apply them to real workplace challenges

By the end of the seminar delegates will have:

• used the Visual Success Map®, a simple and powerful planning tool which can be used for decision-making at all levels, by individuals and by organisations
• applied the tool to specific issues they are facing in the workplace
• explored the conditions within teams needed to ensure that decisions made are fully implemented shared real workplace challenges and learning with a network of colleagues
• used tried and tested techniques to ensure that individuals and teams think issues through fully and productively.

How are applications evaluated? We aim to achieve a good cross-sector balance to enrich the learning experience, offer a range of perspectives and maximise networking. We may therefore have to limit nominations to one or two delegates per organisation and so cannot operate on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.
