Lawyers Network
WIG runs a unique cross-sector Network for senior government, corporate and private practice lawyers from WIG's member organisations. The Network promotes dialogue on legislative issues and the sharing of best practice across the public and private sectors through regular meetings on topical issues.
Recent themes have included Corporate Manslaughter, the Legal Services Act and the Climate Change Bill. WIG members have the opportunity to host, chair and speak at network meetings.
Attendance at Lawyers Network meetings is free to WIG members.
WIG also holds an annual Lawyers Network Summer Reception.
The summer 2008 Reception was kindly hosted by Hunton & Williams, 02 July.
The summer 2007 Reception was hosted by Paul Jenkins, the Treasury Solicitor on 21 June.
