
The Department for Finance and Personnel is seeking to appoint a new Chair to The Board of the Utility Regulator
Role
As the Chair of the Utility Regulator you will be expected to take the lead on the Board through key areas of the Regulator’s work.
This could include determining the level of allowed revenues for regulated companies, modifying licence conditions, monitoring and enforcing licence conditions, acceptance of undertakings, imposition of financial penalties, the giving of directions in respect of anti-competitive conduct and agreeing strategies to develop Northern Ireland’s utility infrastructure.
It will also include decisions affecting how the Utility Regulator performs as an organization, including developing corporate strategies and annual forward work programmes and complying with good governance requirements, including financial and risk management.Brief descritpion of role goes here.
