WIG Diversity & Inclusion Conference 2018 – Call for speakers now open

The Whitehall & Industry Group is delighted to announce that it will be hosting its fifth annual Diversity and Inclusion Conference on *2 November 2018 in London featuring a keynote address by Rupert McNeil, Chief People Officer, UK Civil Service.

The conference brings together over 140 delegates from across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors each year to provide a unique platform for sharing lessons learned and networking with D&I thought leaders.

WIG has opened this year’s call for speakers and invites case study submissions from member organisations showcasing success stories and lessons learned.

Following feedback from previous conferences, we are particularly looking for case studies on the following topics:

  • Developing a mature D&I agenda: what does an advanced approach look like?
  • Faith in the workplace
  • Mental health and disability
  • Race and ethnicity
  • Developing a practical approach to social mobility
  • Trans and non-binary issues
  • Building an inclusive environment for multigenerational workforces
  • How technology and AI can help to promote an inclusive workplace
  • Benchmarking and measuring organisational culture

If you or your organisation have a compelling D&I story to tell, please submit your case study by emailing Francesca Lord by Friday 25 May including a preliminary title and the name and job title of the proposed speaker.

About the conference: WIG’s annual Diversity & Inclusion Conference attracts over 140 delegates from across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, providing a unique cross-sector platform to exchange ideas and challenges, and to learn from the pioneers of D&I about what was successful for them.

Members can apply for a super early bird place at the price of £150 + VAT if booking by 27 July. Click here to apply for a place.
