Winners revealed for WIG's Leadership Impact Award

The City of London's Guildhall was alight with jubilation last night (15th of February 2018), as cross-sector leadership development was celebrated with a reception and award ceremony. WIG's leadership programmes in particular were recognised as critical in the development of first-class leaders who show real impact on their team and the wider organisation.

Two winners were praised at WIG's Annual Reception last night. HMRC's Toni Clark, who is Head of Customer Journeys at the government department, was the recipient of the WIG Leadership Impact Award, now in its second year. A brand new WIG Emerging Leader Impact Award was launched on the night, with the accolade going to Natasha Munro, Global News Executive at British Airways. The new award is targeted at those at the start of their career who have shown fantastic leadership potential and impact.

The Awards were presented by WIG's Chair, Phil Thomson, and WIG Trustee Debbie Alder.

The winners were selected from a very deserving group of nominees, including Michelle Cupples, Head of Communications to the Cabinet Office Chief Operating Officer, Cabinet Office; Daniel Knight, Publishing Manager, The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Jenny Bates, Director, EU Exit and Economic Partnerships, Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). You can view a video of all five finalists here

Our warmest congratulations to the winners and finalists!
