Enhancing Your Leadership Presence

Who is it for? 

Leaders today have to have impact and deliver messages on many different platforms to very different audiences. 

A practical, modular programme designed for senior leaders (director level) in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors wanting to deepen their skills in engaging, inspiring and connecting with diverse audiences both virtually and face to face. 

What will I gain? 

This course will allow you to develop your own leadership presence and brand and explore with others, facing the same challenges, how to communicate in a compelling and authentic way. 

You will have the opportunity to hone your skills through practice with constructive feedback from experienced communications experts and senior leader peers. 

This course will help you further develop your leadership style so that you are confident and inspiring when addressing diverse audiences and setttings.  


Areas we will cover to help you improve your connection and engagement and build a more impactful personal brand: 

  • Speaking to large and small groups 

  • Crafting how you communicate and deliver a vision 

  • Speaking to virtual groups and on vlogs 

  • Being truly inclusive through greater awareness of micro-gestures 

  • How best to handle question and answer sessions 

  • Developing your individual ‘brand’ 

How it works

Leadership Presence benefits from the position and perspective that WIG as an organisation has to offer. You will be part of an intimate group of senior leaders from across the sectors with whom you will be able to share experiences and learn from each other. We have structured the programme as follows: 

Modular – Five half-day modules over 6 months. The modules will include guest speakers and will focus on different aspects of leadership presence. 

During the modules you will also have the opportunity to demonstrate your style and receive feedback and coaching on how to further develop your presence and personal brand.  

Panel of experts from the public, private and not for profit sectors - during the sessions you will present to and receive feedback from senior leaders with different perspectives 

Personal coaching – you will have a practical 90-minute individual session with the programme facilitator to work on your own areas of development 

Programme Structure

The Enhancing Your Leadership Presence Programme will run from November 2021 to April 2022.   Each module is a half day – 09.30 to 13.00 

Module one –    25 November 2021 

Module two -     13 January 2022 

Module three – 9 February 2022 

Module four -    24 March 2022 

Module five -     21 April 2022 

Your 1-2-1 coaching session date/time will be agreed with you

    Fees

    Member fee: £3,300  +VAT.

    Non-member fee: £3,800 +VAT.

    Charity/alumni fee:£3,000  +VAT.

    The fee includes one individual coaching session, membership of the WIG Alumni Network and all programme materials.
