HR Roundtable: Future Skills & STEM subjects
During this roundtable we will provide an overview of the current supply-and-demand in STEM skills, and the challenge it presents. We will have two presenters (Paul Lambert, Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry Hay Group, and Steve Fogg, Managing Director of Shared Services at BAE Systems) who will offer their perspective before the opportunity for a roundtable discussion.
Topics covered will include:
- Future skills – what future skills are likely to be in demand?
- Attraction and retention – how do you attract and retain those skills (especially in the more complex public sector defence context) and how do you motivate and retain complex groups of employees?
- Collaboration and skills sharing – with increasing scarcity, what can organisations do to share critical skills more effectively within their own organisation (knowing what they have and where it is needed) and across the wider defence enterprise?
