Louis Taylor, Chief Executive, UK Export Finance
WIG is delighted to welcome back Louis Taylor, Chief Executive of UK Export Finance (UKEF), for a briefing which coincides with UKEF’s centenary.
In 1919, UK Export Finance (UKEF) was established to promote UK exports lost during the submarine blockade of the First World War. As the world’s first export credit agency, UKEF has been innovating since day one.
Now, in 2019, the UK continues to be a great trading nation, with world-class companies producing goods and services that are in demand all over the world. Through their offer of finance and insurance, UKEF has helped thousands of exporters win, fulfil and get paid for export contracts worth billions of pounds.
Join Louis Taylor, CEO of UK Export Finance, to find out how, with 100 years of experience, UKEF is continuing to support UK exporters and helping to deliver on the government’s Export Strategy.
Before joining UKEF, Louis held a range of senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank, including from 2013-15 as Chief Operating Officer of Group Treasury, based in London. Prior to that, he spent three years as the bank’s CEO for Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, based in Ho Chi Minh City.
