Phil has over 10 years’ experience of buying and selling land for residential and mixed commercial uses, and has acted for a wide range of partners in the North West region - including local authorities, registered providers, urban regeneration companies and private sector developers. Since joining Homes England in 2014, Phil has lead on some of the Agency's most high profile land transactions - and has served as lead project manager for the successful residential led regeneration of Ancoats in Manchester
Graeme Culliton, UK Managing Director, BoKlok
Graeme Culliton is the UK Managing Director for BoKlok, a housing joint venture between Skanska and IKEA. BoKlok translates to Live Smart and has been providing affordable home ownership in the Scandinavia for 20 years.
Now BoKlok is coming to the UK to become part of the solution to fix the UK housing market.
BoKlok focuses on providing well designed homes with hugely satisfied customers at an affordable price. Homes are fully offsite manufactured and has a manufacturing capacity exceeding 4000 homes per annum.
Nigel Emmerson, Head of Housing, Womble Bond Dickinsom
Nigel heads the WBD's Housing Group, and is client partner and deputy client partner for a number of major organisations in the sector. These include Grainger, The National Trust, Thirteen, Akelius, Vista, Southern Residential, Retirement Bridge, Karbon, Bernicia, Places for People, Hearthstone Investments and Countrywide.
Jane Richards, Head of Building Structures, WSP
Jane is a member of the Executive Leadership Team at WSP in the UK. She is also Head of the Building Structures business, which employs around 500 people, responsible for strategic growth, technical excellence and expertise of this discipline. Jane is involved in the delivery of some major multi-disciplinary projects, particularly those involving high-rise towers and deep basements with complex below-ground constraints, such as 150 Bishopsgate, Clapham Junction over-build and 40 Leadenhall Street. Jane is also actively involved in research & development and implementation of modular construction and is co-author of a paper titled ‘Modular Design of High-rise Buildings’.
