Networking: COVID recovery and the UK’s green industrial revolution
Please apply now to secure your spot on this networking forum. Sign up as usual using your WIG account, instructions to join will be sent out a week ahead of the session.
In November 2020 the UK government set out their ten-point plan for a green industrial revolution, recommitting to both the 2050 net zero target, and to ‘building back greener’ from the coronavirus pandemic, by creating and supporting 250,000 jobs.
It is clear that meeting these ambitious goals, which cover clean energy, transport, nature and innovative technologies, will require significant collaboration across the public, private, academic & NFP sectors.
The Whitehall & industry group is delighted to invite you to join this virtual networking session, offering you the opportunity to discuss the path to a green recovery from socio-economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a cross-sector cohort of your peers.
This session will also mark the launch of our upcoming report Enhancing Cross-Sector Collaboration: the UK as a world leader in ‘green-tech’.
Please note this session will not be recorded, and is conducted under 'Chatham House' rule.
