Networking: The future workplace

Please apply now to secure your spot on this networking forum. Sign up as usual using your WIG account, instructions to join will be sent out a week ahead of the session.

In December 2020, the UK government began the largest vaccination delivery programme in British history, with the aim of rolling out a COVID-19 vaccine to all adults by Autumn 2021.

Over the last 12 months, organisations have had to remain agile in their approach to office working, reacting to Government guidance encouraging all to work from home if able to do so. The majority have moved to a remote working environment, with those on the frontline having to completely redevelop workspaces to comply with social distancing.

Now that there is optimism for a ‘new normal’ by the end of 2021, what exactly does the future workplace look like?

The Whitehall & industry group is delighted to invite you to join this virtual networking session, offering you the opportunity to discuss the future workplace, given the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a cross-sector cohort of your peers.

Key questions to be discussed at this event include:

  • What are organisations planning for the future of the workplace, whether physical, digital or blended, and how are these decisions being made?
  • How are employees interacting with one another, and how is collaboration being facilitated both internally, and externally? What is working, what is not?
  • In what way can leaders, managers and employees be best equipped to navigate a phased return to places of work?

Please note this session will not be recorded, and is conducted under 'Chatham House' rule.

Unfortunately this event is now closed for booking.
