Online Leadership: The Power of Why - How great leaders inspire everyone to take action
In 2009, Simon Sinek started a new way of thinking to help people become more inspired at work, and in turn, inspire their colleagues and customers. Since then, millions of people have used his ideas, including more than the 28 million who have watched his TED Talk based on Start With Why—the third most popular TED video of all time.
Every organisation on the planet, even our own careers, function on three levels:
- WHAT we do
- HOW we do it, and
- WHY we do it.
In this online leadership discussion session, Lydia Garrett and Roy Johnson from WIG will explore the idea of the Power of Why; talk about how it’s used within WIG; show ways you can apply it in your daily work and give you the opportunity to try the ideas out for yourself.
What will you gain? In this practical session we will:
- Explore the idea
- Hear examples of The Power of Why in action
- Support you in your application of the idea
- Give an opportunity for you to share your own insights
“Imagine a world in which the vast majority of us wake up inspired, feel safe at work and return home fulfilled at the end of the day.” This the powerful aim of Simon Sinek and his books and videos.
Join us and explore how this idea could inspire you!
