    Department for International Trade

    Vivien joined the Department for International Trade in Summer 2016, initially as Director Free Trade Agreements, leading the team developing the UK’s approach to negotiating new FTAs and achieving continuity of existing EU deals. She is now focussed on Asia and Australasia, including preparing for negotiations with Australia and New Zealand and, potentially the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Prior to joining DIT, Vivien was UK Ambassador to Denmark. She has held a number of roles at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, with a focus on EU, economic and trade policy work.
