Tony Meggs, Chief Executive, Infrastructure and Projects Authority
Improving delivery is a key pillar of the government's strategy to build modern and efficient infrastructure, which supports the economy and boosts productivity.
In the latest National Infrastructure and Construction Pipeline, the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) estimates a 10-year projection of public and private investment in infrastructure of around £600bn. It is vital we deliver this future pipeline as efficiently as possible. Transforming Infrastructure Performance (TIP) is the IPA’s long-term programme to significantly change the way infrastructure projects are planned, procured and delivered so we can make the most out of this increased investment. Tony Meggs will discuss TIP in more detail and the role of the IPA in helping to drive greater performance and improved productivity in infrastructure.
