    Jenny Oldroyd is the Deputy Director for Obesity, Food and Nutrition in the Department of Health and Social Care. Over the last two years Jenny has lead a team of policy makers to develop and implement the government’s Childhood Obesity Plan and the most recent obesity strategy, Tackling obesity: empowering adults and children to live healthier lives,  published by the government in July 2020. Jenny has over twenty years’ experience in the Civil Service, in health and education.
