    Head of UK Public Policy, O2 Telefonica

    Simon is a public affairs, corporate policy and crisis management specialist.  He is currently Deputy Head of Public Affairs at O2, where he manages many of the company’s key relationships with Westminster, Whitehall, devolved governments and local authorities. Prior to joining O2 in 2011, he worked in the consultancy sector for over 16 years at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, APCO UK and Instinctif.  He has also held in-house senior communications roles in the transport and charity sectors.   The son of a farmer, he graduated in 1986 with an English and Philosophy degree; is married with two sons; and lives in Islington, where he is a regular volunteer for youth charities focused on social action, homelessness and employment skills.
