    Richard leads PwC’s global Capital Projects & Infrastructure group. This group works with clients on capital projects throughout the project lifecycle from strategy through to delivery. He has been a partner at PwC since he joined the firm in 1999 and has over 20 years experience working on private and publicly financed infrastructure projects globally. He has advised governments, regulators, corporates and investors on infrastructure strategy, development and financing. Richard has also worked in government (on secondment from PwC) leading a specialist PFI/PPP team in the UK Treasury. His role involved advising senior officials and ministers on PPP policy matters, interacting with the PPP market (contractors, lenders, advisers, and foreign governments), troubleshooting on complex projects and generally representing the Treasury in PPP matters in the market. Prior to joining PwC Richard worked for an infrastructure developer and toll road operator. Alongside his leadership responsibilities, Richard remains client-facing, advising PwC’s most high-profile infrastructure clients. He is a regular spokesperson on infrastructure financing and policy issues and has sponsored multiple reports and papers on developments in the global infrastructure market. Richard also works closely on PwC UK's outbound strategy into the key emerging markets of Africa, CEE and the Middle East.
