Peter is Highways England’s Executive Director for Major Projects and Capital Portfolio Management and a member of the executive team responsible for the day to day running of the company. In his role, Peter is responsible for leading the delivery of the governments £27 billion investment into the strategic road network across a portfolio of major programmes and projects. Peter also leads Highways Englands transformation programme for digital and climate across all capital investment activity. Prior to this role, Peter has held a number of senior positions as Partner and Director at leading international engineering and construction consultancy organisations, working both in the UK and internationally. Peter holds a BSc from UMIST and is a qualified programme and project management professional.
