Women's Leadership: Understanding Yourself

The most effective leaders are those who have a high level of self-awareness. Being aware of your own emotions and knowing how to express them enables you to build and develop strong and productive relationships. The ability to respond to challenging situations in a balanced and emotionally effective way will ensure you get the best out of yourself and those around you.

Your decision-making and stress management is underpinned by your emotional intelligence. Understanding how your emotions are holding you back will enable you to take action to ensure you truly are the best version of yourself.

The day will focus on:

  • Emotional intelligence - what it is and why it is important
  • Your own level of emotional intelligence, where your strengths lie and areas that may be holding you back
  • How emotional intelligence can impact on wellbeing
  • How you can have more impact

By the end of the seminar you will:

  • Have increased self-awareness of everyday emotions you experience.
  • Be able to express your emotions clearly, leading to improved communications
  • Experience improved interpersonal relationships resulting in harmony and increased productivity
  • Make better decisions that are rational and well thought through
  • Understand how you can stay resilient in stressful situations
  • Understand your own patterns of behaviour which can result in intentional changes in behaviour

A follow-up one-to-one coaching session is included which will offer additional support and help you maintain focus and motivation as you implement your actions from the seminar.
