Tim Leunig previously was Chief Scientific Adviser at the Department for Education. He is also Associate Professor of Economic History at the London School of Economics. He holds a PhD in economics, and has written widely on current and historical economic issues. He is a fellow of the Royal Historical Society, the Royal Statistical Society, and the Royal Society of Arts.
