Who are our members?

Our rich member base contains a blend of over 250 organisations from the public, private, academic and not-for-profit sectors including every UK central government department and over 120 top-ranking industry partners. The standing and prestige of our member organisations ensures high quality discussions, insights and the opportunity to create powerful partnerships for progress.

In the public sector:

Our public sector members include the major ministerial departments, arms-length bodies, and local authorities. Together, they employ over 450,000 people across the UK and spend over 50% of the UK's annual GDP on public services.

We have over 120 members from across industry, with a significant majority FTSE 350 or AIM listed, representing all of the UK’s top industry sectors. Globally they operate in over 180 countries and employ nearly 10 million people.

Our membership includes many of the UK’s largest and most prestigious universities, with 63% part of the Russell Group and a combined student population of over 436,000. We also work with a growing number of further education providers, recognising the critical role they play in delivering skills, widening access, and supporting regional growth.
