The Unit for Future Skills (UFS) was launched in the spring of 2022 as an analytical and research unit within the Department for Education (DfE), working with policy makers, stakeholders, and the general public to better understand the skill mismatches and future demand across the UK.

We are delighted to have welcomed Frank Bowley, Head of UFS, for this special breakfast briefing.

Join us online for the opportunity to:

  • Understand how UFS is working across government to improve the quality and availability of jobs and skills data
  • Explore opportunities for cross-sector collaboration to strengthen the UK skills system, delivering good jobs and higher productivity
  • Discover how the unit is progressing with its 2023 priorities and uncover the longer-term plans being developed

Thank you to those who joined us in-person on 28 September for the opportunity to pose your questions directly to Frank in a live audience Q&A.

Please note the Q&A is not included in this recording.
