The recruitment process

We support you through the end-to-end recruitment process from initial brief to successful appointment.

  1. Preparing the brief: we’ll work with you to develop a detailed specification drawing on our extensive sector knowledge and the unique needs of your organisation.
  2. Conducting the search: we search our diverse and extensive membership base and broader networks for suitable candidates to match your brief.
  3. Shortlisting and selection: we’ll work with you to shortlist candidates against agreed selection criteria to identify competencies, skills and experience.
  4. Interviews: we organise interviews with shortlisted candidates and work with you to develop a briefing pack for the selection panel.
  5. Candidate management: we liaise with each candidate to keep them up-to-date with the selection process and offer feedback to support their development.

WIG provides three different levels of service depending on your organisation’s needs and budget:

  • Full service: Creation of a brief, search methodology, advert and candidate pack, promotion on the WIG website, website, email to our network, full search function including the creation of a target list, approaches, regular updates, longlist presentation and full support through arranging interviews to supporting onboarding.
  • Limited Service: Finalisation of brief, promotion on our website, email to our network, dealing with incoming enquiries.
  • Hybrid Service: This incorporates the limited service with a range of selected add-ons from the full service, based on elements of the service you would like WIG to conduct. The full list of pricing is available in a tailored proposal.
