Please note, in-person capacity is limited, and any members we are unable to accommodate face-to-face will be offered the opportunity to join virtually. The livestream will run from 12:30-13:30.

We are delighted to welcome Tom Newby, Deputy Director, Head of the Office for Quantum, DSIT, for a special briefing in which we will explore the rapidly developing field of quantum technology and its cross-cutting potential. As this field shifts from theory to a key driver of national security and economic growth, understanding the practical timelines for technical maturity is essential for forward-thinking leaders. This session will examine the development of a robust quantum ecosystem and the specific ways in which organisations across the public and private sectors can prepare for these emerging capabilities.

Join us on the day and you will:

  • Gain insights into the realistic horizons for quantum deployment and which sectors are likely to see the earliest impact.
  • Explore how cross-sector collaboration can bridge the gap between innovation and practical application to maintain the UK's competitive edge.
  • Understand the proactive steps organisations should take now to ensure resilience and readiness as quantum technologies mature
