In an increasingly complex global landscape, the UK faces evolving geopolitical risks that have significant implications for economic resilience, supply chains, and national security. This roundtable will bring together senior leaders from across government, industry, and the not-for-profit sector to discuss how strategic collaboration with business can help navigate these challenges and deliver secure, sustainable growth.

Key points for discussion:

  • Initial reflections from attendees on the current global geopolitical environment — what are the key considerations and challenges from your sector’s perspective?
  • How can sectors work more collaboratively to strengthen the UK’s economic security? And what can Government most usefully do to support this?
  • Looking ahead, what issues should the UK focus on to achieve our long-term economic ambitions, particularly secure growth?

Please note attendee numbers at roundtables are strictly limited to ensure everyone is able to contribute to the conversation. Invitees are carefully selected in line with WIG's charitable purpose, to bring a range of views and perspectives. If you or a colleague would like to be considered for future roundtables in this series, then please feel free to email us at [email protected].
