The National Security and Investment Bill, currently going through Parliament, will ensure that government has additional powers to scrutinise and intervene in business transactions, such as takeovers, to protect national security, while providing businesses and investors with the certainty and transparency they need to do business in the UK. These changes are likely to have a host of impacts across the sectors, for parties on both sides of the investments.
